Nautel insist on toroidal ferrites on the coax headed to the antenna.
As this keeps Thor from killing the MOSFETS. As the HAARP Transmitters
are tubes they are not quite a sensitive. They are designed to operate
anywhere on the smith chart for load impedance... In fact off the smith
chart as they can work with a negative impedance (power being fed back).
