                    heard of these things talked about after my
                    transition to EE but never could find a great
                    reference on how exactly they worked.</span></p>

                    installing single stub series and parallel with
                    either capacitive resistive or inductive loads (or
                    simply calculating the coax length) in order to
                    eliminate reactive power (which is your imaginary
                    reflected power).  I thought inductors had to be
                    connected into the coax and not just slid over the
                    outside in order to actually destructively interfere
                    with reflected power.</span></p>

                <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt">Additionally,
                    if an RF wave is generated inside of a transmitter
                    via electron change of motion and that wave is then
                    guided in a wave guide how is that wave dispersed
                    and manipulated in say a rototiller antenna.  The
                    root of the radiation is the electron manipulation
                    in the transmitter itself.</span></p>

                    toroidal ferrites on the coax headed to the
                    antenna.  As this keeps Thor from killing the
                    MOSFETS.  As the HAARP Transmitters are tubes they
                    are not quite a sensitive.  They are designed to
                    operate anywhere on the smith chart for load
                    impedance...  In fact off the smith chart as they
                    can work with a negative impedance (power being fed
                    back).

                        use NEC4 (if I remember correctly).  It is just
                        classic array physics - just big at these
                        frequencies.  The physics is the same for the
                        nifty flat panel radar arrays or curtain dipole
                        arrays like we use in HF broadcasting.  They
                        just have some very cool software to change the
                        transmitter exciters to provide beam steering,
                        circular polarization, and lots of other cool
                        stuff.  Each dipole has its own transmitter.
