Hey  guys  I heard yesterday that the Ivar's Salmon house restaurant is being temporarily shut down until the spring,  that means we can't use it for our Christmas party if conditions allows change and allow us to.  So that also means we have 3 options to handle the SBE Christmas party:
1.  We can cancel it altogether - something I really don't want to do.
2.  If we are allowed to, we can have it at a different restaurant - if we can put it together and make all the arrangements and still keep it cost effective.  I gotta believe that in order to          get the business, companies will not be charging top dollar like in the past and hopefully that will work to our advantage.

3.  We can have a virtual Christmas party, which would basically be a virtual zoom meeting - including Santa Clause and gifts.

I have already discussed with a few of the main vendors, Gates air, Nautel, and BSW about this  and they are all for having the Christmas party this year,  they don't want to give it up either,  so please between now and our board meeting on Oct. 12 be thinking of places we can contact about having our party.  Right now a party of 70 or so people is probably out of the question but in 2 months who knows.  If we can't have the actual party then I want to go with option #3.  I also talked with Michael Brooks about using KING FM studios as a place to store gifts for a few days or so and then have the gift winners go there to pickup whatever they win, he didn't think that would be a problem.

There has to be a way to make this work, so at our board meeting in October,  I want to focus on making this work if we can.  If conditions change and we are allowed to use Ivar's then the problem goes away, but I just don't think that's going to happen.  Thanks everybody in advance for your help on this.
