on April 14 and 15. It will also be a stand-alone event with separate
registration from the convention.

There are two separate educational tracks: RF 101 Boot Camp and NextGen
Broadcast. It's all happening at the Westgate Resort, so it’s convenient to
arrive two days early and attend the SBE Ennes Workshop before the exhibits

(TPT) is part of an ongoing effort to help those new to broadcast and media
engineering gain the knowledge and experience they need to fill available
industry positions. As technology continues to advance, the need for
qualified technical personnel increases. The SBE TPT was designed to make

programs, but for employers, station groups, state broadcaster associations
and other groups to identify and train new talent for the future.

As an SBE member, you can help grow the talent pool by promoting the SBE
Technical Professional Training Program to your employer and other
broadcast organizations. The application fee for a young person entering
the field is an investment in that person's future. While the cost of
enrolling in the program might be rich for an individual, it can likely be
easily justified and paid for by a station, station group or other
broadcast organization.

SBE members who are at least 65 years of age, are fully retired from
broadcast engineering work and have been an SBE member for at least 15
consecutive years at the time of applying for Life member status may be

Update Your Chapter's Information With the National Office
A reminder to update the SBE National Office with the names and contact
information of your chapter's current officers, their website addresses and
the chapter's regular meeting pattern (2nd Tuesday at noon, 3rd Thursday,
evening, etc.). A good time to do this is just after your chapter's annual
