[SBE16-Board] SBE16 Ennis Workshop

Gents,
   We now have a date and we now have a location for the SBE16 Ennis Workshop on Antennas!
   June23, 2026 (a date which will live in infamy)
   Mercer High School Athletic Field

Stephen Lockwood from Hatfield and Dawson will present a morning lecture on how FM and TV antennas work (lots of physics that will make your head hurt) and then in the afternoon, Stephen Wilde from AAT/Scala/Kathrein/Shively will have his range antennas set up on the field and we'll learn hands on about how antennas really work.

Mercer Island High wants $800 for the facility and we will need to budget for a catered lunch.  Is it reasonable to think we can get 40 people to show up and charge $50/head to cover facilities and lunch?  That would be a break-even.  It's going to take all of us dialing for dollars to make this happen.  I'm working on Rhode & Schwartz, Nautel, Tektronix, Broadcast Tools, Harrington Aerial and BSW for corporate sponsorships.  Anybody else we should talk to?
