[SBE16-Seattle] SBE Chapter 16 Board Election - Self-Nomination

Here's your opportunity to influence the activities of YOUR SBE chapter!

Respond *no later than 6/21/24* if you'd like to be considered for a Board
position.We are currently confirming candidates for the election to open
soon. The new officers will be announced at our annual picnic on July 13.

The commitment is a monthly evening meeting (via Zoom) and a very small
amount of additional time on committee efforts.

Any SBE Chapter 16 voting member can be nominated, or self-nominate, for
the following positions:

*Chair:* Preside at all meetings of the Chapter and oversee committee
activities.

*Vice-Chair:* Assist the Chair, assume the duties of the Chair when absent,
and arrange chapter meeting presentations.

*Secretary:* Record and present the minutes of all meetings of the Chapter
and maintain our status with the State of Washington.

*Treasurer:* Maintain accurate accounting of chapter finances, manage the
chapter’s accounts, and file annual IRS form 990-N.
