[SBE16-Seattle] FCC Reopening: Reasonable deadlines and an LMS filing window

Good evening from the West Coast,

 

Sorry for the mass e-mail, but this is important.

 

This afternoon, the FCC announced a host of new due dates, and effectively a
week-long filing window: 

 

*	Quarterly public files will be due 12/1. 

 

*	License to cover for CPs that expired during the shutdown will be
due 11/28. 

 

*	All STAs that expired (or will expire) between 10/1 and 12/4 are
automatically extended through 12/5. 

 

*	ULS filings due 10/1 through 12/5 are now due by 12/5. 

 

*	New apps filed in LMS between 11/18 and 11/25 at midnight EST will
be deemed to be filed on 11/25, so basically a filing window for the next
week. This is to keep the load down on LMS and the Staff. There's no reason
to rush into filing on the 18th.

 

If you have an engineering project in progress here at Skywaves, I've got
you covered. 

 

For everyone else, this is important information that will eventually get
out in the next day or two, but I wanted you all to have it now.
