Welcome to February and to celebrate, we can't wait to hit the road for this month's chapter meeting! At 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11th, we'll be at the new facilities of Cascade PBS (KCTS). Our esteemed and knowledgeable friend and SBE Chapter 100 Chair,
Jeff Welton of Nautel Transmitters fame, will give a presentation on "IT Security in a Broadcast Plant." These days, the trend is toward virtualization, containerization, and cloud-based everything. What this means and the steps we need to take in order to
ensure that we're minimizing our visible footprint while still enabling our teams to get their jobs done will be discussed.</div>
