[Cougar] [EXT] RE: KPLZ tower work

Hello,

Thank you Aron. The tower crew estimates that the work will take the remainder of the week and possibly Saturday to complete. They will be wearing RF suits and have NARDA meters. I'm not sure if a complete power down is necessary but 50% or lower on the Jampro to start would be helpful. They are on site and would like to climb soon.

I can be available to turn down power, our preference for this sort of work though is between 10 PM and 4 AM if that is doable.

I don't know if this means the Jampro would need to be on low power or off - Scott can you fill us in once you have details?

I have been informed that a tower crew will be working on the KPLZ tower possibly tomorrow 12/1, and or 12/2. P&R Tower will be doing the work replacing our rigid line with heliax.
I realize this is more than a short notice to ask for power reductions, and I apologize, but it may be necessary for safety.
This is not how I normally schedule projects but it was not in my control.
Please let me know if you can help me out?
