Ron Rackley, a luminary of the U.S. broadcasting engineering community, has
died. Rackley passed away Friday at his home in Florida, according to an
announcement by the Association of Federal Communications Consulting
Engineers, of which he was a former president. 

 

 

 

I never had a change to work with him on a project (That would have been  #1
in my Bucket List) 

However we did chat many times at NAB

 

He was closely associated with Hatfield and Dawson, here in Seattle,  and
left his mark at some  call letters you would recognize.

He was a pioneer,  legend and giant in our industry
