Alex,

Where's my 2.5 cents (inflation) on student equipment:

I'd opt for the dbx 286S over the 528e (which is now obsolete). The buttons
on all of my prior 528s have become flakey (dirty/oxidized and intermittent)
The EV RE 320 mics are a great match for the 286s. BSW offers the "Re-Pop"
filter that works well. FAR better for student voices than the RE27 or SM7B
The Air 1 is a good entry-level mixer for radio students.
