[SBE16-Seattle] SBE Seattle - Call For Nominations!

Greetings!

Each year, our SBE chapter members elect officers to participate in the
planning and management of all chapter activities. These are the people
that plan our monthly meetings and annual events. Any SBE Chapter 16 voting
member can be nominated, or self-nominate, for the following positions:

*Chair:* Preside at all meetings of the Chapter and oversee committee
activities.

*Vice-Chair:* Assist the Chair, assume the duties of the Chair when absent,
and arrange chapter meeting presentations.

*Secretary:* Record and present the minutes of all meetings of the Chapter
and maintain our status with the State of Washington.

*Treasurer:* Maintain accurate accounting of chapter finances, manage the
chapter’s accounts, and file annual IRS form 990.

I’m asking YOU to participate in defining the direction of our chapter
activities by nominating a member for the 2022 annual election of SBE
Chapter 16 officers. The commitment is a monthly Monday evening board
meeting and a small amount of additional time on committee efforts.

Please reply before June 15th with your nomination(s). If you’re
interested, yet not fully decided, we’d like to hear that too! If you have
questions regarding the responsibilities of chapter officers, feel free to
reply and we’ll answer the best we can.
